120255 - An Educational Approach That Is in Conformity With the Enrolled-Audience and Their Acquainted Thoughts
The technology and engineering programs appear different from certain professional specializations where the essence may be perceived by the learning made up to the inception of the program of study. For example, while a medical course is being learnt, the audience has an opportunity to correlate the contents to the concerned medical problems faced or heard from the known sources. The dwelling time, social and economic implications, and influence of such instances may let the audience sufficiently understand the contents being learnt. Therefore a learning mechanism that sufficiently enables to understand the contents of the chosen field is essential. The article intimates the learning methodology that inculcates interest, builds the sufficient foundation in terms of breadth and depth, enables the development of skills, and improves the orientation towards the chosen field of under graduation. In addition, the methodology emphasizes on focusing the exclusivity that is commensurately relevant to the program of study, by reminding on not overburdening with the contents that are more appropriate to a different level of the program of study. The article explains the technical and cognitive reason for not overburdening as mentioned. The induction of the fundamentals of engineering through sufficiently dwelling analogy with day-to-day life activities and the few practices that prevailed for a lengthy time frame appeared as a trigger to enhance the learning-curve. The approach gave an important outlook of realizing unlimited bounds of the frontier of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in the resourceful globe and space. Emphasis on the ways of cognizance appeared to build the confidence that is required for the profession. Mentioning the significance of harvesting such thinking helped the audience to perceive and adapt with the synergy of the profession. The methodology paved way to initiate interest to learn the engineering, logic, flow, and application at ease. The role of technical versus commercial feasibility and affordability in innovation directed thoughts that lead to understand the engineering configuration of the devices. The introductory courses of engineering showed clear leads to understand the sensitive boundaries of the roles and responsibilities in order to prevent the overlap of responsibility and gain exclusivity as appropriate to the program of study. The methodology provided outlook on the essentials of technical invention and commercialization of technology. The methodology also gave an opportunity to realize the importance of the professional exclusivity and the means of realizing it through the genuine curriculum as well as the existing practices, with minimum intervention. The methodology also gave an opportunity to implement with the existing resources and methods. The methodology gave sufficient elaboration on the project handling methods to navigate a concept through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, specific to the program of study.
